Why Protests About Obama’s Health Care Reforms Are a Little Sad

It was reported that demonstrators gathered outside ABC affiliates yesterday, to protest the network’s decision to air a town hall meeting with President Obama about health care. Protestors were angry that no time was allotted to those opposed to Obama’s plan.

It’s hard to argue, however, that those opposed to Obama’s plan aren’t being heard. See: Lobbyists. And it’s hard to be impressed by the protests. In Springfield, Mass., it was reported that “more than a dozen” people protested outside the local ABC affiliate. More than a dozen? Does that mean 13 people?
