Ten Cheap Dates

Besides the diamond industry, who says romance has to cost a bundle? A cheap date can be a great date.

A Kiplinger story offers “Low-Cost Dates That Won’t Look Cheap,” with ten simple, tried-but-true ideas like having a picnic, cooking a meal together, toasting marshmallows on the beach, or playing tennis.

If you’re going to cook, might I suggest the helpful tips from the post “How to Cook Like a Gourmet—When You’re Broke.” Other suggestions from Kiplinger include skipping a night at the movies with a night with a $1 DVD rental from Redbox, and even visiting the library.
