Procrastinator Alert! Coupons for Easy Last-Minute Savings at the Mall

Procrastinator alert! Free shipping with online orders is no longer an option if you want stuff to arrive by December 24. So if you still need to get some holiday shopping done on these last couple of days, you’re probably going to have to deal with the mall. There are sales galore, but you can save even more—easily an extra 10%, sometimes even 50% off—by taking a couple minutes to print coupons.

Printable coupon roundups are available at several coupon-specialty sites, including DealNews (though some of those coupons had expiration dates of Dec. 20 or 21) and Printable Coupons.

Here are some personal selections: All of these coupons are for stores that are good possibilities for finding last-minute gifts, and unless otherwise noted, they’re all good for in-store purchases until at least December 24.

Aeropostale: $10 off $50 purchase or $25 off $100 purchase.

Borders: 30% off any one list item.

Gap: $20 gift card with purchase of men’s or women’s jeans or $10 gift card with purchase of kids or baby jeans, thanks to Buxr.

J.C. Penney: $10 off a purchase of $50 or more.

Old Navy: $30% off any single item, also thanks to Buxr.

Petco: $5 off a $25 purchase.

Sears: 50% off a Craftsman Toolbox, so you pay just $9.99. Valid only on December 23. Also, Sears has another last-minute option: Place your order online, and so long as you buy more than $39 of merchandise, you’ll get $1 for every $10 you spend, and your stuff is guaranteed to be available for pickup at a store by 3 p.m. on December 24.

Sports Authority: $10 off $50 purchase, or $25 off $100 purchase. Print the coupon here.

Instead of last minute shopping (or any at all really) this was my year to conserve money and resources by making a giant batch of tamales. Each foil-wrapped dozen costs me about $3 worth of ingredients. But it does take time and effort! It is all about choices.
