Considering that consumers have already dropped tens of billions of dollars in stores and online on gifts so far this holiday season, it’s understandable if you’re feeling all shopped out. Nonetheless, with retailers trying to eke every possible dollar out of consumers, we are in the midst of the mother of all shopping marathons, with last-minute sales and stores open 24 hours a day during the final stretch before Christmas.
The marathon champ seems to be Toys R Us. As CNN Money reported, the toy-retail giant’s stores around the country opened on Tuesday, December 20, at 6 a.m., and aren’t closing until 10 p.m.—on Saturday, December 24.

What’s more, Toys R Us just announced special last-minute deals for the final two chaotic shopping days before Christmas. The deals, good on December 23 and 24, include a host of “buy one, get one half-off” specials on gifts such as Lego construction sets (bummer: Star Wars sets are excluded), all Crayola products, and Imaginarium arts and crafts.
Many locations for other retailers, including Old Navy, Kohl’s, and Macy’s, are also staying open for 24 or more hours in a row. Whereas the doors and registers at Toys R Us stores are open a total of 112 hours straight, 14 different Macy’s stores are offering non-stop shopping for a “mere” 83 hours in a row.

Most Walmart Supercenters, meanwhile, are also open 24 hours a day. But that’s nothing special. They stay open 24/7 year-round.
